Sound + Picture Sandbox

The first place to go if Thai is still a wall of sound. Tap a picture, hear the word, and start building the handful of nouns everything else gets attached to.

No signup. Nothing to get wrong in Explore mode.

Today’s Plan opens most first weeks here, because there is nothing to fail and every card is a word you will meet again.

Hear it first, quiz yourself second

01

Two hundred and forty-eight words with a picture each

Browse or tap; nothing is timed and nothing is marked. The picture is doing real work here — a word you meet as an image and a sound is one you can recall before you can spell it, which is the right order for a first week.

Open a word and the spelling stops being arbitrary

Any card opens into its syllables, with the letters Thai leaves out of the spelling filled in faded and each syllable’s tone named. The same breakdown you meet in Memory Builder and Pronunciation Loops, on your very first words.

A single Thai word with the unwritten vowel that is nonetheless spoken filled in faded around it, and its tone named as Rising
Faded letters are not written — they are part of how the syllable sounds.
