Pattern Drills
The sentence can stay while the stance changes
Final particles are context-sensitive. These glosses are guides, not one-to-one translations.
รอก่อนนะ
Wait a moment, okay?
นะ can soften or seek alignment.
มากินสิ
Come eat.
สิ can urge or invite, depending on voice and relationship.
แล้วคุณล่ะ
And you?
ล่ะ can turn the topic back to someone.
Relationship and voice still matter
A particle does not erase tone of voice, status, or context. Copy reviewed whole exchanges before extending a pattern.
Worked payoff — compare the turn, not a dictionary label
ไปนะ ↔ ไปสิ
A softened departure/notice ↔ Go ahead / Go on, then — สิ adds urging or encouragement
Treat the contrast as conversational stance; do not attach a permanent English word to either particle.
